Markell Smith

Markell Smith serves as the Staff Assistant for the Maryland Democratic Party. She joined to help organize and implement events and other programs hosted by the Party.

Before coming to the party, she was an Account Executive within the staffing industry.  


Saif Ratul

Saif Ratul is the State Field Director for the Maryland Democratic Party, managing the Party’s outreach operation to turnout Democratic voters in every jurisdiction and elect Democrats at every level. Most recently, Saif served as the deputy field director for the 2016 Maryland Democratic Coordinated Campaign.


Patrick Fowler

Patrick Fowler serves as the Digital Communications Assistant for the Maryland Democratic Party. He joined to help build the Party’s digital media strategy as things kick into gear for the 2018 midterm elections. Before coming to the party, Patrick gained experience with an NGO that helps disadvantaged communities in Baltimore.


Fabion Seaton

Fabion Seaton manages the Party’s communications and messaging strategy, and most recently served as the press secretary for Congressman Elijah E. Cummings.  Prior to that, Seaton worked for former Senator Barbara Boxer and former Baltimore delegate Jill P. Carter.  He grew up in Prince George’s County and is a graduate of Frostburg State University. 


Noah Stewart

Noah Stewart is one of the organizers for the party, he is working with the rest of the field team to implement change in Maryland. Before coming to work for the party Noah interned on Chris Van Hollen’s senate campaign. He was then hired as a field organizer onto the Maryland Coordinated Campaign where he worked in Anne Arundel and Baltimore County.


Eva Lewis

Eva Lewis is the Political Director for the Maryland Democratic Party working to build and implement statewide political programs and manage the Party’s political relationships with local committees, candidates and organizations. Before joining the Party, Eva worked many years as an attorney, grassroots organizer and political operative building coalitions and increasing political engagement.


Samantha Hubbard

Sam serves as the Montgomery County organizer for the Maryland Democratic Party. She is tasked with executing the Party’s field program of Resistance and Renewal for her region. The goal is straightforward; beginning a process of reshaping the electorate into a stronger Democratic Maryland. Before coming to the Party, Sam worked in Chris Van Hollen's primary campaign and in the Chris Koster for Missouri gubernatorial election in 2016 cycle.
