Your Leadership and
Participation is
Vital
It’s our time to take
back
Despite the fact that we
- Maryland Democrats - did our part to set
records for voter turnout during the 2008
Primary Elections across the land, we can’t
take anything for granted. The work we do now
will ensure we reach our
goals.
Taking
Back the White House – Grow Our Strength in
Congress
Our goals are simple. We
seek a Democrat in the White House. We will
re-elect our Congressional Democrats. We will
also give our new Democratic President two more
votes in Congress. Democrats Frank Kratovil
(MD - 1st District)
and Jennifer
Dougherty (MD
- 6th District) will take back two
seats previously held by Democrats as voters
reject those Republicans who still stand with
and work for a “3rd Bush
term.”
On Saturday, March
29th join hundreds of Marylanders
who’ve said they are ready to build the most
powerful ground game in
What You Can
Do
It’s simple and easy.
Maybe an hour a week of your time can help
organize the voters in your neighborhood. We’ll
give you the materials and information you’ll
need to find your like-minded neighbors and
recruit more leaders who care about changing
Spring into
Action on Saturday, March
29th
This is when the ground
game begins with a brief door-to-door survey of
your neighbors. Each Neighborhood
Leader will
spend a little time on Saturday, March
29th contacting 25 voters (We’ll
help you target those voters.). A survey of 5
or 6 questions will help us learn from your
neighbors and help you introduce yourself to
the voters we need at the polls to Vote for
Change in
November.
The Ground
Game Begins March 29th
Your participation is
crucial. Be a volunteer who helps create the
change you seek. Become a Maryland Democratic Party
Neighborhood Leader who provides the
vital link between our Democratic candidates
and the voters of your
neighborhood.
Elections are won on the ground.
Elections are won with voter
turnout. Elections are won
because people like you spend a little time and
effort to make sure the change we seek happens
at the polls on November 4th,
2008.
